Get ready to swing the weekend away at the Heartland Swing Festival 2017 which will be held in the Des Moines, Iowa area, April 6 to 9!! Plans call for this event to be Iowa's largest swing dance festival with 4 nights of dances and contests, 40 hours of swing dance classes taught by nationally- and world-renowned instructors and over 400 dancers from all over the United States. Classes will take place at Miss Kitty's in Clive, the Dance-A-Cross studios in West Des Moines, and the West Des Moines Community Center in the Valley Junction area of West Des Moines. Dancers may buy a weekend pass or attend just one of the Friday-Sunday night dances at the Val-Air Ballroom.
