BluesGeek celebrates the blues-idiom family of dances through community driven panels, promoting local blues legends, and showcasing the dances like never before. For 2019, we are switching things up and expanding the event you know and love! A FULL 3-DAY EVENT Classes start FRIDAY morning: Fancy Feet Friday Jukin, Saturday Ballroomin Sunday PLUS DJ training, a Jam Track, and daily Freestyle classes! MORE PANELS Explanatory: Every morning, we will chat briefly about the dayâ€™s theme, and how the music and movement interact. Musician interviews: Every lunch, we will talk with musicians who will be performing over the weekend. Exploratory: Every afternoon, there will be a panel discussing lyrical content and stories that comprise Blues. Midnight moments- Every night as we transition between main and late night dances, we'll have a brief talk about Blues culture.
