Celebrate Lindy Hop where it all began! with the World Finals of the 2024 International Lindy Hop Championship. This one-of-a-kind 5-day festival celebrates swing-era music, dance, history and culture while building community for new generations of fans! Centering around the historic Alhambra Ballroom (2116 Adam Clayton Powell Blvd.), this 5-day festival will offer social dancing to live jazz bands every night, a variety of dance classes, contests for dancers at all levels — from Beginner to Invitational educational talks, walking and bicycle tours of Harlem, a visit to Jazz Corner of Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx, and more! The parties also includes a special commemoration of World Lindy Hop Day (May 26) and a free public cultural collaboration Monday afternoon and with a dance lesson, jazz buskers and dance jam with street and club dancers on Memorial Day (May 27).
