SCAT & SWING – VOICE MEETS DANCE Shoo-bee-doo. Ba-dap. Doo-wop. This festival revolves around scat syllables – as a shared pulse, as a tool for groove, accents, breaks, and for music that goes straight to the body. We work with voice, feet, and partner. Solo jazz and Lindy Hop intertwine. Call & response, grooving together, shared rhythms. You don't need to be able to sing. You just need to listen, react, and move along. Whether you're a beginner or experienced in swing: a diverse program awaits you, including scat & Lindy Hop workshops, voice sessions, an Afro taster, and a Lindy Hop beginner's introductory course.
